Wood Bros continued placement of operations material on the floor of Module 1
utilizing 2- 623 paddle wheel scrapers and a 2- D6 dozers with 2- laborers to spread the material.
Wood Bros. continued to weld the 4" solid riser pipes up the eastern slope laterals. Wood Bros started
welding the 18" primary riser pipe.
Surveyors Group Inc, on site to verify thickness on the drainage aggregate on the southern and the eastern
end of Module 1. Surveyors set some control stakes for the operations layer.
*D&E installed and seamed filter geotextile and geocomposite on areas approved for deployment. D&E
deployed a total of approximately 103'000ft2 of geotextile on the eastern floor and the southern floor of
Module 1. D&E deployed, zip tied and sewn seamed the composite on the northern slope. D&E deployed a
total of approximately 20,000ft2 geocomposite.
Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed placement and grading of the LCRS drainage aggregate and
operations layer material from stockpile A. CQA observed deployment and seaming of geotextile and
geocomposite materials deployed. CQA performed 2- #200 washes on the operations material and 14200
wash sieve on the drainage aggregate. CQA observed DE had placed geotextile over areas that had not
been approved by the surveyors per Wood bros. request. The areas were out of specification for thickness so
Wood Bros. peeled back the geotextile and cut the drainage aggregate to grade and replaced the geotextile
material.
Vector discussed with Wood Bros Drainage aggregate will start to be imported tomorrow..
File Name: Foothill Landfill Prepared By Frank Dell -Era Reviewed Bv:
