We know that you are as <br /> pleased as we are with these findings,which are consistent with monitoring data from monitoring <br /> well MW-3 since January 2002. Further evaluation monitoring is not proposed at this site at this <br /> time, subject to your review of these results. <br /> We believe that past detections were the result of a transitory increase in LFG production due to <br /> ponding at the edge of the landfill adjacent to MW-3. If so,then the grading to correct this ponding <br /> several years ago was the"corrective action"needed. <br /> ' As we discussed,if groundwater is not impacted,then corrective action is not needed, and an <br /> Engineering Feasibility Report identifying potential corrective action against no impact would be of <br /> no benefit.
