The site is located in eastern San Joaquin County on Waverly <br />Road approximately one mile south of Shelton Road. The area available for development <br />encompasses approximately 800 acres, however, our study concentrated on an approximate 50 <br />acre parcel presently in use near the midge of the site. The landfill has been operated by <br />Foothill, Inc., for the pest 20 years. The approximate location of the site is shown on the <br />vicinity map, Plate I. <br />
