7. 1. OPERATING CRITERIA <br />7.1.1. Hours of Operation <br />The landfill is open to receive refuse daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the exception of <br />Holidays including New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Open <br />hours and days may be adjusted by the County. <br />Landfill operations, such as placement of soil, daily cell preparation, and construction projects, <br />may occur at other times. <br />The site administration and other supporting activities by the County is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm <br />Monday through Friday of each week, except County holidays. <br />7.1.2. Records <br />The County maintains the following records at the San Joaquin County Department of Public <br />Works, Solid Waste Office at 1810 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California: <br />1. Weights and volumes for waste accepted in accordance with the SWFP and WDRs. The <br />County manually weighs and records transfer and packer truckloads. Loads from small <br />commercial haulers and the public are either weighed or estimated and recorded by the <br />scale attendant. <br />2. Excavations which may affect the safe and proper operation of the site or cause damage <br />to adjoining properties. <br />3. Daily log book of information concerning the site including fires, landslides, earthquake <br />damage, unusual and sudden settlement, injury and property damage accidents, <br />explosions, receipt of and rejection of unacceptable wastes, flooding and other unusual <br />occurrences. <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill Page 39 of 62 Public Works/Solid Waste <br />JTD County of San Joaquin — Revised 10/6/05 <br />
