U <br />C7 <br />If there is an emergency at the site, the site foreman (or alternate if he is not available), notifies <br />and supervises all employees. The foreman initially notifies employees with the use of the two- <br />way radios. All employees meet at the main gate or assembly area for further direction. A site <br />foreman or alternate is on-site during all working hours to supervise and direct during an <br />emergency. <br />7.1.8. Lighting <br />Lighting is provided to both on-site residences, the maintenance building, the on-site water well, <br />lunchroom trailer, scalehouse, and at the leachate holding tank. Maintenance is provided by <br />Foothill, Inc. Maintenance includes checking the lights and replacing bulbs as necessary. <br />Night filling operations do not occur on the site; therefore there are no lights in the fill area. <br />Portable lights will be provided at the landfill as needed. <br />7.1.9. Safety Equipment <br />All site personnel are required to wear the following personal protection equipment (PPE) issued <br />by the present contractor: <br />• Hard hat <br />• Orange safety vest with reflective tape <br />• Safety glasses <br />• Work gloves <br />In addition to the above PPE, the landfill operator also makes available the following PPE to all <br />employees: <br />• Earplugs <br />• Dust masks <br />First aid kits as well as fire extinguishers are located at the scale house and maintenance <br />building.
