7.1.10. Personnel Requirements and Training <br />7.1.10.1. Personnel Requirements <br />Site personnel are identified in the organization chart (Plate 15). Site personnel consists of the <br />following: <br />Solid Waste Foreman <br />Job Description - Performs responsible supervisory work for refuse disposal operations. <br />Minimum Qualifications — High school diploma, three years experience in landfill <br />operations in California, California drivers license. <br />Lead Worker <br />Job Description - Performs responsible supervisory work for refuse disposal operators <br />under the direct supervision of the foreman. The lead worker acts as site foreman when <br />the foreman is absent. <br />Minimum Qualifications — California drivers' license. <br />Equipment Operators <br />Job Description — Perform skilled work in the operation and maintenance of all of the <br />heavy equipment. Operators act as laborers as needed. <br />Minimum Qualifications — Minimum 5000 hours equipment operation experience under <br />supervision by an operator. <br />Laborers <br />Job Description - Perform semi -skilled labor including traffic directing and load checking <br />at the active face, maintaining equipment, and general site work including maintaining <br />and building berms cleaning stormwater ditches, and installing litter fences. <br />Minimum Qualifications - None <br />Gatehouse Attendant <br />Job Description - Keeps track of incoming waste types and quantities and performs initial <br />load check. <br />Minimum Qualifications - None <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill Page 44 of 62 Public Works/Solid Waste <br />JTD County of San Joaquin — Revised 10/6/05 <br />
