3.4.3 PUBLIC COMPLAINTS <br /> The operator maintains a record of any written public complaints including the nature of the <br /> complaint,the date of the complaint, name, address,telephone number of the person's making the <br /> complaint and any action(s)taken in response. <br /> 3.4.4 OPERATOR NOTIFICATION <br /> The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Management Division is <br /> directly responsible for management and operation of the Facility. The Department of Public <br /> Works has been responsible for the management and operation of the Station since 1977. <br /> 3.4.5 EMPLOYEE TRAINING RECORDS <br /> Employee training generally consists of on-the-job training under the supervision of a staff person <br /> experienced in the aspect of the skill being taught. Potential hazards and safety procedures are <br /> stressed and meetings to discuss safety and procedural issues are scheduled regularly. <br /> All employees receive training in recognizing and responding to hazardous waste spills and <br /> disposal. In addition to the above, specialized training is provided to specific employees (forklift, <br /> etc) and all employees attend bi-weekly safety meetings. <br /> 3.4.6 INSPECTION OF RECORDS <br /> Weight and Volume Records are computerized and can be accessed at the Solid Waste <br /> Administrative Offices. Random Load Check, Load Checker's Log and Daily Logs are copied and <br /> retained for several months at the Solid Waste Offices before being removed for final storage. <br /> Records are available for inspection during regular operating hours, Monday through Friday. <br /> 3.5 DOCUMENTATION OF ENFORCEMENT AGENCY APPROVAL, <br /> DETERMINATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS <br /> In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 1'7414.1, any approvals, determination and other <br /> requirements the LEA is authorized to make under 14 CCR, Chapter 3 are maintained at the <br /> LMRF&TS administrative offices. <br /> Lovelace MRF and Transfer Station Department of Public Works/Solid Waste Division <br /> Transfer Processing Report 30 County of San Joaquin-Revised 7/26/05 <br />
