APPENDIX I <br /> FREON REMOVAL AT LOVELACE MATERIAL RECOVERY FACILITY <br /> AND TRANSFER STATION GUIDE LINES <br /> Responsibility\& pain of Command Introduction <br /> Materials Recovery Facility Forman <br /> The Materials Revery Facility Forman,(Forman) is the Program's first line supervisor. <br /> The Materials Recc very Facility Forman directs Program activities through the use of <br /> Material Recovery Fal iility Supervisors(Supervisors). <br /> Material Recovery Facility Supervisors(Supervisors) <br /> The Supervisors are the I ad positions assigned to the Program reporting directly to the <br /> Materials Recovery Facilit Forman. All other positions assigned to these Programs <br /> report to the Supervisors. Aside from the duties listed below, these positions are <br /> expected to have knowledge f, and the ability to perform, all job tasks assigned to the <br /> Program,when needed. <br /> Supervisors are responsible for sc eduling, onsite direction, and supervision of Program <br /> staff. In the absence of a Supervi r, the authority of directing Program staff must be <br /> specifically assigned to another Pro ram staffs- member of sufficient knowledge and <br /> experience for the assignment. The Su ervisor or his/her appointee, is held responsible <br /> to ensure any active dumping area is staff d, ith traffic direction personnel at all times. <br /> The Supervisor is responsible for reposing\day, <br /> of substandard performance of <br /> staff in writing to the Forman. Supervised with providing performance <br /> evaluations for Program staff. <br /> Supervisors are expected to Tad and ue Program guides and provide <br /> training and direction to Program staff. Eamployee is expected to perform <br /> the following daily assignmefts in the order <br /> 1. Communicatewith Program employees to obtain atus. <br /> 2. Report empl yee status to the main office staff. <br /> 3. Coordinat and assign work assignments for staff. <br /> 4. Maintain overage at landfill dumping pads <br /> 5. Maintai coverage at the waste recycling yards. <br /> 6. Monit the actions of all Program staff to ensure personnel are operating in a <br /> safe anner. <br /> 7. Ens re protective gear is used correctly. <br /> 8. C rdinate operations with Site Supervisors. <br /> 9. S hedule material pick up,when needed. <br /> 10. oordinate equipment transportation with Operations staff. <br /> 11. upervise the proper care and maintenance of Program equipment and vehicle <br /> fleet. <br /> 12. Report unusual occurrences to the Forman, when necessary. <br /> 13. Other tasks, as assigned. <br />
