Under this agreement the contracted hauler loads
the materials at the Lovelace Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer Station, performs any
necessary cleanup, prepares the manifest and transports the waste to a hazardous waste site for
ultimate disposal. The foreman at the site signs the manifest as generator and forwards required
copies to the California Department of Health Services.
The storage locker will be clearly marked as a hazardous waste storage area and will remain
locked. The locker will be cleared of accumulated prohibited waste discovered under the load
r_
checking program when it becomes over 90 percent full or before any waste contained therein
has been stored for 90 days.
13
