the Foothill Sanitary Landfill to protect storm water quality consists <br />of procedures and policies designed to ensure that equipment and <br />personnel operate in a manner that minimizes the sources of potential <br />pollutants. <br />2.4 INDUSTRIAL STORM WATER DISCHARGE TREATMENT FACILITIES <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill has no storm water discharge treatment facilities. <br />2.5 SAMPLING DATA DESCRIBING POLLUTANTS IN STORM WATER DISCHARGE <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill has no storm water discharge sampling data. The <br />California Regional Water Quality Control Board Central valley Region's <br />Monitoring and Reporting Program No. 91-020 requires Foothill Sanitary <br />Landfill to do surface water sampling quarterly at locations S-1 and S-2 as <br />shown in Figure B, the active fill area. The monitoring reports are on file <br />at the County Solid Waste Division office. <br />2.6 METHODS OF ONSITE STORAGE AND DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill is a Class III landfill. All large scrap metal is <br />z� <br />separated from the waste materials and transferred off site to a subcontractor <br />F metal recycler. There are no outdoor manufacturing, or process areas at the <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill. <br />The equipment maintenance shop, located on the north side of the property <br />boundary between the east and west site boundaries, stores equipment, heavy <br />vehicles, and performs minor repair operations including maintenance. All <br />motor oils and other automotive fluids for maintenance are stored in a room <br />within the shop building. <br />• <br />
