r <br />Accumulated waste oils and sludge are contained in an weather exposed, large <br />steel holding tank located outside and next to the north side of the building. <br />They are disposed of regularly by a subcontractor waste oil recycler. The <br />10 <br />diesel and gasoline storage tanks are in the open and exposed to weather <br />;= <br />conditions. <br />2.7 OUTDOOR STORAGE ACTIVITIES WHICH GENERATE DUST OR PARTICULATES <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill generates dust from heavy equipment vehicles moving <br />soils used for daily cover to the fill areas and out of the excavation area. <br />An on site water truck provides dust control and watering for soil compaction <br />purposes. <br />2_8 HAZARDOUS SPILLS <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill has not had a significant <br />hazardous material spill on site {see Hazardous Materials Management Plan in <br />Appendix B}.
