1] <br />• <br />5.1.2 Use of Cover Material <br />Cover material shall be applied as indicated in Section 6. Should <br />areas of the fill be subject to erosion of cover with potential to <br />expose waste, the operator shall reapply cover to bring these areas <br />to the conditions specified in Section 6 or applicable regulations <br />to the satisfaction of the LEA. <br />5.1.3 Segregation of Appropriate Waste <br />5.1.3.1 Light Wastes <br />Wastes which may cause a litter problem because cf their density or <br />other properties when dencsited shall be compacted immediately to <br />reduce litter potential. This may require that appropriate loads <br />are selectively compacted and covered with denser wastes during <br />operations. <br />5.1.3.2 Tires <br />Tires which are delivered for disposal in cells which are near the <br />top of the final design fill shall be segregated from the waste by <br />the Operator and placed in subsequent fill cells which are lower <br />than one lift (cell height) from the final grades proposed for the <br />fill. <br />15 <br />
