Landfill Owner/Operator
Forward Landfill Inc.
9999 South Austin Road
Manteca, California 95336
Telephone No.: (209) 982-4298
A Site Engineer will be retained by the responsible party for closure and post-
closure activities at the Forward Landfill.
1.4 POST-CLOSURE END USE
The proposed post-closure use for the Forward Landfill is non-irrigated open
space, vegetated and landscaped to blend with surrounding agricultural land
uses. The landfill will be vegetated with drought-resistant grasses and shrubs
to minimize erosion. The vegetation utilized for the Stage IA area will be
selected and modeled to enhance the proposed alternative final cover design.
Current closure and post-closure requirements limit end use options in order
to maintain the integrity of the final cover surface. The CIWMB, RWQCB and
LEA in accordance with 27 CCR, Section 21190, must review any future
proposed changes to the currently proposed end use that would require
construction improvements.
Forward Landfill PFCPCMP 1-6
ZAPROJECTS\Allied Waste\Forward\Reference Files Prior JTD\June 05 Stage IA Partial FCPCMP\FL-secl.doc:
