2.3 UNIT PRICE LIST -The following unit price list should represent all components of the work, <br /> and will be utilized as the basis for determining compensation for change orders, delays or unspecified <br /> extra work items that may arise during the work. The cost indicated for each item will be the total cost <br /> of the compensation, and will include labor, supervision, overheads, profit, and any other costs. <br /> Standby will be incurred by OWNER only if the CONTRACTOR is unable to work a forty (40) hour <br /> week because of OWNER caused delays. OWNER will not pay standby time because of inclement <br /> weather. Rates for the work performed will be as identified in the Contract. Standby rates cover <br /> ownership costs only; costs for profit, labor, and maintenance have been deducted. Standby for rental <br /> equipment will be presented by CONTRACTOR for review and approval by OWNER; only those <br /> items identified as rental equipment in the original bid or subsequently approved for Project use in <br /> writing by OWNER will be considered.
