4.5 FILTER GEOTEXTILE <br /> A. Measurement: <br /> 1. Measurement for installing the Filter Geotextile shall be by the square foot <br /> on the basis of dimensions shown on the Construction Drawings, or, if the <br /> Construction Drawing dimensions are modified by the OWNER, DESIGN <br /> ENGINEER or QA/QC CONSULTANT, on the basis of as-built surveys, <br /> excluding joint overlap and wasteage. <br /> 2. Quantities will be calculated by the planar area (i.e. not corrected for slope) <br /> of the base of the landfill cell. No separate measurement shall be made for <br /> Filter Geotextile installed in the sumps, anchor trenches, protection of the <br /> leading edge of the geomembrane, and for runouts, terminations, and tie-ins. <br /> B. Payment: <br /> 1. Payment for installing the Filter Geotextile shall be by the unit price per <br /> square foot quoted in the Bid Form. <br /> 2. The price quoted shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, <br /> equipment, materials, submittals, tools, accessories and incidentals, and for <br /> performing all Work specified including, but not limited to, installing, <br /> seaming, repairing, and protection to complete the Work in accordance with <br /> Section 02771, GEOTEXTILES, of these Specifications and the <br /> Construction Drawings, and as directed by the QA/QC CONSULTANT. <br /> 4.6 MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Full compensation for all labor, material, and equipment used to furnish and construct the <br /> miscellaneous civil improvement as represented by the Contract Documents and Section 02645 <br /> of these Specifications shall be included in the Contractor's price for the completed project, in <br /> accordance with the Bid Schedule. <br /> 4.6.1 HDPE Piping And Fittings For Leachate Ponds <br /> 1. All layout, excavation, grading, HDPE slotted and perforated pipe, fittings, <br /> bedding, backfill, compaction, rope ladders, gravel log anchors (to be <br /> sewn by Geosynthetics Contractor), and/or all other operations, equipment, <br /> or materials incidental to completing the work as represented by the <br /> Drawings and Specifications shall be included in the Contractor's Lump <br /> Sum price. <br /> 4.6.2 PCC Trapezoidal Channel (Detail 4/10) <br /> 1. All layout, excavation, PCC, reinforcement, and/or all other operations, <br /> equipment, or materials incidental to completing the work as represented <br /> by the Drawings and Specifications shall be included in the Contractor's <br /> unit price. <br /> FORWARD LANDFILL 01200 <br /> 8 PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES <br />
