2. Data shown shall be complete with respect to quantities, dimensions, <br /> specified performance and design criteria, materials, and similar data to <br /> enable the DESIGN ENGINEER or QA/QC CONSULTANT to review the <br /> information. <br /> H. At the time of each submission, give DESIGN ENGINEER or QA/QC <br /> CONSULTANT specific written notice of each variation that the submittal may <br /> have from the requirements of the Contract Documents. <br /> I. The DESIGN ENGINEER or QA/QC CONSULTANT's review will be only for <br /> conformance with the design concept of the project and for compliance with the <br /> information given in the Contract Documents, not extending to means, methods, <br /> techniques, sequences, or procedures of construction (except where a specific <br /> means, method, technique, sequence, or procedure of construction is indicated in <br /> or required by the Contract Documents) nor to safety precautions or programs <br /> incident thereto. <br /> J. The DESIGN ENGINEER's or QA/QC CONSULTANT's review of submittals <br /> shall not relieve the CONTRACTOR from responsibility for any variation from <br /> the requirements of the Contract Documents unless Contractor has in writing <br /> called the DESIGN ENGINEER or QA/QC CONSULTANT's attention to each <br /> such variation at the time of submission, and has received written approval from <br /> the DESIGN ENGINEER of each such variation by a specific written notation <br /> thereof incorporated in or accompanying the shop drawing or sample approval; <br /> nor will any approval by DESIGN ENGINEER relieve the CONTRACTOR from <br /> responsibility for errors or omissions in the shop drawings or from responsibility <br /> for having complied with the provisions herein. <br /> K. Where a shop drawing or sample is required by the Specifications, related Work <br /> performed prior to the DESIGN ENGINEER's review and approval of the <br /> pertinent submission shall be the sole expense and responsibility of the <br /> CONTRACTOR. <br /> L. Timeliness: Schedule and make submissions in accordance with requirements of <br /> individual Specification sections and in such sequence as to cause no delay in <br /> Work or in Work of other contractors. <br /> M. Incomplete Submittal Submissions: <br /> 1. The DESIGN ENGINEER or QA/QC CONSULTANT will return the entire <br /> Submittal for the CONTRACTOR's revision/correction and resubmission. <br /> 2. Submittals which do not clearly bear CONTRACTOR's specific written <br /> indication of CONTRACTOR review and approval of Submittal or which <br /> are transmitted with an unsigned or uncertified submission form or as may <br /> otherwise be required will be returned to CONTRACTOR unreviewed. <br /> N. ENGINEER's Review: The DESIGN ENGINEER or QA/QC CONSULTANT <br /> will act upon the CONTRACTOR's Submittal and transmit response to the <br /> CONTRACTOR not later than 10 days after receipt, unless otherwise specified. <br /> Resubmittals will be subject to the same review time. <br /> 1.4 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> A.
