2. The product or system has been inspected by a manufacturer's authorized <br /> representative. <br /> B. Certification of Compliance: <br /> 1. Where specified, furnish certification of compliance for products specified <br /> to a recognized standard or code prior to the use of such products in the <br /> Work. <br /> a. The DESIGN ENGINEER may permit use of certain materials or <br /> assemblies prior to sampling and testing if accompanied by a <br /> certification of compliance. <br /> b. Certifications shall be signed by the manufacturer of the product; state <br /> that the components involved comply in all respects with the <br /> requirements of the Specifications. <br /> C. Furnish certification of compliance with each lot delivered to the <br /> jobsite and clearly identify the lot so certified. <br /> 2. Products used on the basis of a certification of compliance may be sampled <br /> and tested at any time. The fact that a product is used on the basis of a <br /> certification of compliance shall not relieve CONTRACTOR of <br /> responsibility for incorporating products in the Work which conforms to <br /> requirements of the Contract Documents. Products not conforming to such <br /> requirements will be subject to rejection whether in-place or not. <br /> 3. The DESIGN ENGINEER reserves the right to refuse permission for use of <br /> products on the basis of a certification of compliance. <br /> 1.9 CONTRACT CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Record Drawings: <br /> 1. The QA/QC CONSULTANT will prepare a set of record drawings for the <br /> project which will include the changes made in materials, equipment, <br /> locations, and dimensions of the Work.
