Am I correct if I tell Lenny they could be fined up to $l Ok per day via a civil penalty and/or the LEA could imposed administratively a fine up to $5 per day? One question Robert suggested that the reporter double-check with us is the monetary penalty amount the Board is authorized to assess if the LF continues to operate out of compliance. The LEA thought it involved a range of dollars but wasn't sure. Can you verify and provide that part of code/regs that addresses this? Thanks. The first inspection (normal 18- month inspection)was conducted on August 11, 2004. The Comments section of the report outlines CIWMB staffs concerns with how the tonnage was being counted at the landfill and their use of ADC material. There is also a reminder that new ADC regulations recently passed and that Forward needs to update their Report of Disposal Site Information. The second inspection was conducted on April 20, 2005. This was a focused inspection by the LEA and CIWMB staff. Violations were issued for PRC 44004 -Significant Change, PRC 44014(b) -Terms and Conditions of the Permit and Title 27, CCR Section 21600 - Report of Disposal Site Information. An area of concern was also issued for T27, CCR, Section 20686 - Beneficial Reuse. All of these violations are detailed in the inspection report. The ADC issue regarding food waste in the green waste cover material has been resolved. This should give you significant detail.
