They continued
deployment of the primary 60 mil single textured HDPE liner over the five to one(5:1)slope and over the
north slope of the FU-03 cell. Twenty-five(25)panels of GCL and seventeen(17)panels of 60 mil were
deployed and seamed. The crew stopped deployment and air testing in the early afternoon due to rain
showers and began trash cleanup for a short time.Panels were deployed working east to west. The GSE
foreman stated that he would be on site tomorrow morning to see if deployment of the geocomposite would
be possible.
Roll certifications for the GCL,which arrived on site Monday(11-10-03),have not yet been received.
The GSE foreman stated that the certs would be FAXed to the Vector office before closing time.
Sukut had baserock delivered to the site for the access road but the material was rejected because it was
too fine in gradation. One scraper hauled stockpiled low permeability clay to the southwest comer of the
cell floor in the morning and early afternoon. The rains stopped clay placement in the early afternoon. Six
(6)nuclear moisture density tests were performed at random locations and elevations with all tests passing
the required specifications in compaction and moisture content. The Sukut foreman was verbally informed
of the test results.
Prepared By: Reviewed By:
4/23/03,Rev.0 1 of I
C-9
