GSE began deployment on
the primary 60 mil liner on the five to one(5:1) slope and on the north slope of the FU-03 cell. Twenty-nine
(29)panels of GCL and twenty(20)panels of 60 mil single textured HDPE were deployed and seamed
throughout the day. Air testing was completed on all panels placed.
Roll certifications for the GCL which arrived on site Monday were again requested from GSE and the
foreman stated that they were delivered to him and would get me a copy.
Sukut worked on the access road with the blade and scraper and in the afternoon, began to place and seam
the eight-ounce(8oz)geotextile. Laborers continued to rake the subgrade of the north slope of the cell and
the five to one(5:1) slope throughout the day. Low permeability clay began to be placed in the southeast
comer of the cell floor. The scrapers hauled material from the stockpile and the sheepsfoot supplied
compactive effort.Five(5)nuclear moisture density tests were performed at random locations and
elevations. All tests passed the 90%compaction specification and the Sukut foreman was verbally informed
of the test results. He stated that road baserock would begin to arrive tomorrow to cover the geotextile.
AOL
epared By: Reviewed By:
4/23/03,Rev. 0 1 of 1
r-?
