They began cutting out
the saturated material on the upper staging area to enlarge it and will place more recycled base at a later
date. Operations layer was placed in the southeast comer where depth checks were performed on the
granular drainage material and in the south central floor of the FU-03 cell. The operations layer material
was taken from the on site stockpile. The foreman stated that they would begin placing granular drainage
material tomorrow.
A very brief, informal meeting was held with Lochlin C. and Montie C. to discuss project progress and
scheduling and the clay liner at the northeast corner. It was decided that the clay material would be left to
dry without cutting more holes in the liner. The material is drying sufficiently and is firm to foot pressure.
repared By: Reviewed By:
4/23/03,Rev. 0 1 of 1
r-,
