Prior to placing the eight-ounce(8 oz)geotextile,the <br /> thickness of the drainage rock was checked with the measuring rod and also placed using a GPS system <br /> attached to the dozers. Operations layer was placed in the northwest quadrant edge of the cell floor. The <br /> operations layer material was taken from the on site stockpile. Both the minus 3/8 inch and the minus 1 inch <br /> rock were imported throughout the day using the belly dumps and transfers,respectively. <br /> I met with Butch(Forward)to inform him that the liner installer is scheduled to arrive on Thursday(1-22- <br /> 04)morning to perform repairs,the surveyor of record needs to be on site the same day and that Leak <br /> Detection Services should be scheduled for the 27th of this month(next Tuesday). <br /> One sieve analysis was completed on the minus 3/8"granular drainage material and one sample was <br /> obtained of the minus 1"coarse grained material to be used in the cell sump.
