3.11 SITE <br /> SECURITY <br /> The Forward Landfill is currently equipped with a perimeter fence, gates, locks <br /> and signs. The fencing and locked gates restrict access by persons and vehicles <br /> other than those authorized. <br /> 3.12 STRUCTURE REMOVAL/DECOMMISSION ING OF ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> CONTROL SYSTEMS <br /> At this time, there are no plans to decommission any structures or environmental <br /> control systems at the Forward Landfill during the closure of Stage IA. If deemed <br /> necessary, any decommissioning of boreholes, monitoring wells or peizometers <br /> will be conducted in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agency <br /> requirements (including notifications, as required) and in general accordance <br /> with post-closure maintenance plan procedures. <br /> 3.13 CLOSURE IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE <br /> 3.13.1 CLOSURE PROCESS <br /> As discussed in Section 1.5, Stage IA of the Forward Landfill will be closed in <br /> Summer 2005. Stage IA closure construction will begin with mobilization of <br /> equipment and materials.
