Staff previously reviewed and <br />concurred with the Design Report, Waste Management Unit FU -08, Forward Landfill, <br />submitted on 15 April 2008. Because there are no significant design changes, staff's previous <br />concurrence remains in effect. Staff previously found that the design plans and specifications <br />comply with Title 27 CCR and the facility's Waste. Discharge Requirements (WDRs). <br />The following documents must be submitted during construction and after the completion of <br />the construction of northern portion of Waste Management Unit FU -08 and include the <br />following: <br />1. The Final Construction Quality Assurance Report must include sufficient information for <br />Regional Water Board staff to determine that the northern portion of Waste <br />Management Unit FU -08 was constructed in general compliance with previous <br />submitted plans and the facilities WDRs. <br />2. Provide As -built drawings of the major components including the leachate collection <br />system, pipe layout, top of subgrade, top of gravel, top of operations layer, sump <br />connections and a map showing location of all CQA testing. <br />3. Copies of weekly construction reports should be FAXed to Regional Board staff each <br />week.
