WMU F South is currently permitted to be constructed in the southwest corner of the existing Forward Landfill, south of the South Branch. WMU F South is permitted as a Class II impoundment. 4.1.2 CURRENT RESOURCE RECOVERY ACTIVITIES Salvaging, volume reduction, and recycling activities have-been-were conducted at the transfer station located in the area of the existing Forward Landfill, south of the South Branch. The transfer station building is currently utilized for transfer (i.e., unloading of packer trucks and loading onto transfer trailers) of recycled material. Feedsteek is reeeived frem seuFees self haulers, independent reeyeling haulers, and tree trimming/landseaping 4.1.3 EXISTING STORAGE AND SUPPORT FACILITIES The support facilities consist of an entrance facilities area, scales and scale houses, water production wells, maintenance and storage area, a transfer station/resource recovery building, landfill gas recovery plant, a groundwater treatment plant, and sedimentation/detention ponds. The entrance facilities area includes two office trailers, portable sanitary facilities, a landscaped area, and gravel and paved parking areas for employees and visitors. The main site office is located in the entrance facility. Two scale houses are located at the site. The main scale house for the existing Forward Landfill has four scales and is located in the northwest corner of the existing Forward Landfill site. The secondary scale house has one scale and is located at the northeast corner of the existing Austin Road Landfill.
