An <br /> additional scale is located in the southern portion of the existing Forward Landfill <br /> to service the composting operations. <br /> Two water supply wells and one water supply standpipe are located at the <br /> existing Forward Landfill and one water supply well is located at the existing <br /> Austin Road Landfill. The water supply standpipe is located adjacent to the <br /> Forward scalehouse. The water production well that supplies the standpipe is <br /> located near the main entrance facility for the existing Forward Landfill. The well <br /> has a production of approximately 1,500 gallons per minute (gpm). The other <br /> water supply well at the existing Forward Landfill is located south of the South <br /> Branch and has a capacity of 500 gpm. The water supply well at the existing <br /> Austin Road Landfill is located along the northern boundary of the existing <br /> landfill. This well was installed in 1972 and has a production of approximately <br /> 60 gpm. <br /> The maintenance and storage area is currently located in the northwest corner of <br /> the existing Forward Landfill. The area is secured, and fenced but also mobile <br /> and can be moved around the site, as needed. The maintenance area includes <br /> portable buildings, storage areas for refuse bins, and parking areas for heavy <br /> equipment and cars. A complete vehicle repair service facility with an extensive <br /> inventory of spare parts is also maintained. The maintenance and storage area is <br /> operated in accordance with the site's SWPPP. <br /> The transfer station/resource recovery building is located just west of the landfill <br /> entrance that is south of the South Branch. The building is a metal frame <br /> building that is open on one.side. The total square footage of the building is <br /> approximately 12,000 square feet (sf). <br /> Ogden Power Paeffic-, ine. (Ogden)-Covanta Energy Covanta) currently operates <br /> a methane gas recovery system at the Austin Road Landfill.
