Construction
1. Gwinn continued moisture conditioning the surface of the Clay Liner in the floor area of FU-06.
2. GSE deployed 17 rolls of Geocomposite on the south slope and within the sump: area=49,089 square feet.
3. GSE started deployment of 60-mil HDPE single side textured on the 5:1 slope area, liner panels P-32
through P-39: area= 37,356 square feet. Total coverage to date =91,658 square feet.
II. Testing
1. Monitored activities; all logs, as-built etc.
2. Located and tested 60-mil HDPE Destructive Sample DS-5 on panel P-32 and the existing liner on the 5:1
slope: peel and shear strength values exceeded minimum specification requirements.
3. GSE provided Subgrade Acceptance for liner panels P-1 through P-31 on the south slope.
III. Conversations
• With Monte Christie, Vector Engineering, Inc., re: GSE deployed Geocomposite on the south slope
and in the sump. Some details on the plans show Geocomposite on the slope above the sump; but a
note on the plans said ..."no Geocomposite on the south slope." GSE will remove the Geocomposite
from the south slope and within the sump.
Prepared By: Reviewed By:
./121
I of 1 4/23/03,Rev. 0
