Construction <br /> 1. Gwinn completed placement of the Clay Plug anchor trench backfill on the shoulder of the 5:1 slope and <br /> placement of General Earthfill in the anchor trench at the south end of the Northern Portion. <br /> 2. GSE starts deployment of 60 mil double side textured HDPE across the crest of the 5:1 slope. Panels P-129 <br /> through P-147. Area= 34,892 ft'. <br /> II. Testing <br /> 1. Monitored all activities during liner deployment. <br /> 2. Performed 3 FDT's in compacted Clay Plug anchor trench backfill at the top of the 5:1 slope; tests CP-1, 2 <br /> and 3 passed specification requirements. <br /> 3. Performed 3 FDT's in compacted Earth Fill anchor trench backfill and 1 FDT in the south end extension <br /> to the east berm in the Northern Portion, tests SG-94 through SG-97, respectively, passed. <br /> III. Conversations <br /> • With Monte Christie, Vector Engineering, Inc., Re: Site visit. Tour work area, observe deployment <br /> of HDPE liner. Discussed minor tasks for completion and work on the Final Report. <br /> • With Lochlin Caffey, Allied Waste, Re: Discussed substituting Geocomposite for Cushion geotextile <br /> on the HDPE liner deployed across the top of the 5:1 slope, and using 12 oz. Cushion geotextile in <br /> lieu of the 8 oz. Filter geotextile as specified. (No 8 oz. material on site).
