Construction Air Permit MOMMEMMMOMM
5 .0 REGULATORY ANALYSIS
The following San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District(SJVAPCD)rules and
regulations are generally applicable to the Genset and associated components within the
SJVAPCD jurisdiction. Explanation is provided to illustrate how the proposed project will
comply with each potentially applicable requirement.
5. 1 SJVAPCD RULES
Rule 2201 New and Modified Stationary Source Review Rule
1. BACT Applicability:
Per Section 4.1.1 of SJVAPCD Rule 2201, for new emission units, BACT shall be
required on a pollutant-by pollutant and on an emissions unit-by-unit basis if the new
emissions unit results in a potential to emit(PE) for a pollutant that exceeds 2.0 pounds in
any one day. The following table lists the daily PE for each of the proposed new LFG—
fired IC engines and flare, and whether that engine's and/or flare's potential emissions
exceed the BACT trigger level for that pollutant. A BACT analysis was performed and is
attached in Appendix F.
9
