geomembrane. 0 <br />• Verify that the geocomposite is securely anchored to prevent movement by the wind. <br />• Verify that adjacent panels are overlapped and seamed in accordance with the <br />Specifications. <br />• Examine the geocomposite after installation to ensure that no potentially harmful foreign <br />objects are present. <br />The QA/QC Inspector must inform both the QA/QC Manager and the Geosynthetics Contractor if <br />the above conditions are not met. <br />4.4.4 Repairs <br />Repair procedures include: <br />• Patching --used to repair large holes, tears, and small defective areas. <br />• Removal --used to replace large defective areas where the preceding method is not <br />appropriate. <br />Repair procedures shall be performed per specifications. <br />4.5 Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) <br />4.5.1 Delivery <br />During delivery of GCL the QA/QC Inspector will: <br />• Verify that equipment used to unload the rolls will no damage the GCL. <br />• Verify that care is used to unload the rolls. <br />• Verify that all documentation required by the Specifications has been received. <br />• Verify that each roll is marked or tagged with the following information: manufacturer's <br />name; project identification; lot number; roll number; roll dimensions. Log this <br />information on the geosynthetic receipt form. <br />• Verify that the geosynthetic receipt form is completed. <br />Page 42 0 <br />
