Submitted to: Scott Purdy (GLA) Project #: 2013-AO55 Report No.: 007 Report Date: Friday May 24, 2013 Weather: AM: 60 OF Clear Guinn Construction Activities: Onsite: 06:00 - 15:30 Hrs PM: 84°F Clear • The contractor continued cleaning work along the north tie-in line, continued removing liner debris embedded in material stockpiled along tie-in with front end loader and two laborers. • The Contractor continued buttress fill placement using material from cut floor area; performed continuous moisture conditioning and sheepsfoot compaction work. The Contractor continued excavating floor. Personnel: (1) Superintendent, (1) Grade Checker, (7) Operators, (2) Laborers. Equipment: (1) 825 Cat Sheepsfoot compactor, (1) 140H Cat Motor -Grader, (2) Water trucks, (1) Cat Excavator, (3) D6 Cat Dozers, (4) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) Cat Fork-lift. Meetings and Site Discussions: • Met with Kevin Turner (Guinn Superintendent) in the morning to discuss planned activity for the work shift. The Contractor would continue buttress fill along the WMU-8 existing slope and the WMU FU13 floor excavation. The Contractor would continue cleaning debris along the liner tie-in on the north side of WMU- FU13. The Contractor would continue dust control. • The Contractor will be off on Monday 05/27 in observance of the Memorial Holiday. CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (1) • CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring and lab and field moisture -density testing of the buttress fill placement. • CQA personnel continued monitoring excavation work in the Cell floor.
