The Contractor used two hand held <br />whackers to achieve compaction. <br />• The Contractor continued moisture conditioning of access roads and adjacent areas. <br />• Personnel: (1) Operator <br />Equipment: (1) Water truck. <br />Comanco Lining Activities: 0500-1630 hrs <br />• Comanco completed installation of the single sided geocomposite over the HDPE liner on the north 4:1 slope; <br />strated Geocomposite installation on the west half of the 2:1 slope. <br />• The geocomposite was installed from the top of the slope inside the liner anchor trench and onto the slope <br />bench and from top of the bench down on the 2:1 slope extending a minimum of ten feet on the floor. The <br />net component of the geocomposite panels was overlapped a minimum of 3 -inches and fastened using white <br />plastic ties at 3-4 foot intervals along the slope and at 4-6 inches on cross seams on the slope bench and <br />slope tie-ins. The textile component of the Geocomposite was sewn using the double stitching sewing <br />method. <br />• The Contractor used air blowers over the surface of the HDPE liner prior to the installation of the <br />Geocomposite to remove accumulated dust and debris. <br />• All geocomposite material installed today was secured with ballast sand bags at the end of the work shift. <br />PAGE 1 OF 3 <br />
