The Contractor continued placement of the coarse drainage gravel in the east LCRS trench over the perforated HDPE pipe. • The Contractor installed the drain rock unloader at the south end of the Cell in close proximity to the LCRS trench. The Contractor will start placement of the drain gravel on the Cell floor tomorrow 07/24. • • The Contractor excavated liner anchor trench along the east limits of the upper slope section. The Contractor installed the synthetic liner in the anchor trench. The Contractor performed backfill and compaction of the anchor trench. • The Contractor started placement of the granular drainage gravel upon completion of the liner anchor trench backfill along the east end of the upper slope section. The drainage gravel was transferred with a rock truck and spread in a continuous 12 -inch lift with a D6 Cat LGP Dozer equipped with GPS for grade control. Personnel: (1) Superintendent, (1) Grade Checker, (10) Operators, (2) Laborers. Equipment: (1) 140H Cat Motor -Grader, (1) Water truck, (1) Cat Excavator, (1) D6N Cat Dozer, (1) D6R Cat Dozer, (2) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) Cat Fork-lift, (1) Rock unloader conveyor, (1) 740 Cat Rock Truck. CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (2) • CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring and documentation of construction activities insuring conformance with the project specifications. • CQA personnel monitored installation of the HDPE leachate tanks insuring that proper procedures were implemented to prevent damage to the underlying synthetic liner. • • CQA personnel monitored the installation of the liner anchor trench along the east end of the upper slope; performed moisture density test on the compacted fill in conformance with the project specifications.
