- Guinn completed placing embankment fill to the 68' contour. 40 <br />- Guinn completed the grading of the FU -13 cell floor. <br />- Guinn completed grading of the LCRS trenches. <br />- Guinn completed removing soil from around the existing leachate tank. <br />- Guinn continued excavation on the 2:1 cut. <br />3. Projected schedule: <br />- Guinn will clean out the tie-in with previous WMU's. <br />- Guinn will remove excess soil from the 2:1 cut. <br />- Guinn will remove the tank and gravel from WMU FU -8, but leave the existing <br />liner in place. Ruben will coordinate with site forces to ensure that any leachate is <br />pumped and removed from the sump area. <br />- Guinn will finish grade from the 68 -foot contour to the Tie -In. <br />- The geogrid was ordered and should arrive on-site by next Friday. <br />- Comanco is planning to be on-site to install the geomembrane on the slopes on <br />July 2 and on the floor starting June 23`d <br />4. Field observations, problems, conflicts, and changes: 0 <br />- Sangeeta provided a memorandum on May 30th regarding revisions to the WMU <br />FU -13 Construction documents. The revisions involved the geogrid, CQA Manual, <br />Sheet 3 of the Construction Drawings, and Bid List. A copy of the memorandum <br />has been attached to these meeting minutes. <br />5. Issues which impede the construction schedule and corrective measures: <br />- Neither Guinn nor Comanco have the geogrid installation in their contracts. <br />Lochlin requested that Comanco provide Republic with a installation cost. Scott H. <br />stated he would get a quote out in the next day or so. <br />- Guinn has identified a zone of clay to the east of the cell that is approximately <br />4'x175'x350' in volume (9,074 cy). This will not be enough clay to complete the <br />project. An additional 5,000 cy of clay is required to complete the compacted clay <br />liner. Another zone of clay has been identified further to the east. Guinn will remove <br />the topsoil in this area and GLA will test it for suitability.
