0 <br />6. Review of submittals and RFI's: <br />- Submittal S-01 was provided by Guinn. Additional information is required on the <br />properties of the pipe per the specifications for carbon black percentage and <br />maximum hoop strength. <br />- Guinn is working on the leachate tank submittal. Various options were discussed <br />at the meeting including using a corrugated HDPE pipe with perforations and <br />HDPE plates welded to the top and bottom. Guinn will submit on the tank with the <br />corrugated HDPE. A submittal will also be provided for the pea gravel for the <br />LCRS. <br />7. Review of CQA activities: <br />- The moisture and density testing of the subgrade is complete. <br />- Guinn was reminded of the importance of getting water into the clay prior to <br />placement. <br />- GLA continues to monitor the clay processing. The moisture content is running <br />from 18-20% with an optimum moisture of 13-16%. Scott P. stressed the <br />importance of placing the material as much over optimum as possible without <br />pumping to ensure a lower permeability. <br />Am - Jose stated that a sheepsfoot compactor would be the best at placing the cla <br />MW Guinn stated that they would be bringing in a Cat 815 sheepsfoot compactor. <br />E <br />8. Health and safety/Environmental issues: <br />- Guinn/GLA/Republic reported no health and safety issues for the week. <br />- Guinn will continue to provide copies of the weekly tailgate safety meetings to <br />the Forward front office who will make copies and email to Lochlin. <br />- Republic provided copies of the previous health and safety meetings to GLA. <br />Copies have been attached to these meeting minutes. <br />- Guinn/Republic reported no dust control issues. <br />- GLA will continue to provide weekly progress reports and CQA reports to Ross at <br />the RWQCB. <br />9. Other items: <br />-- Republic will be responsible for pumping and disposal of the leachate that is <br />collected.
