- Guinn uncovered existing soil around the sun -damaged geocomposite on the <br />southeastern corner. 0 <br />- Comanco finished placing geogrid and HDPE geomembrane on the upper deck. <br />- Comanco finished placing cushion geotextile on the cell floor. <br />- Comanco completed placing geocomposite on the slopes including the repair in <br />the southeastern corner. <br />3. Projected schedule: <br />- Guinn will finish placing LCRS piping. <br />- Guinn will continue to pump leachate. <br />- Guinn will place drainage rock on the cell floor and then place the filter geotextile <br />over the drainage material. <br />- Guinn will place operations soil over the filter geotextile. <br />- Comanco is complete and is de -mooing. Guinn will remove the existing <br />sandbags left from the geosynthetic installation. <br />- Comanco will prepare and submit the geosynthetic as -built drawings. <br />- Guinn will complete backfilling of the east side upper deck anchor trench. <br />- GLA will schedule dipole leak location testing for Tuesday, August 6th <br />4. Field observations, problems, conflicts, and changes: <br />- Guinn pointed out that the leachate tanks received from the manufacturer had <br />the pipe stubs located too high on the tanks. Guinn will contact the manufacturer <br />and have them place new stub outs at the correct elevation on the tanks. <br />5. Issues which impede the construction schedule and corrective measures: <br />- Comanco identified that there would be a slight shortage of cushion geotextile on <br />the project. Republic was able to secure a partial roll of cushion geotextile from the <br />Keller Canyon Landfill. Following approval by Lewis Engineering, the remainder of <br />the shortage was made up utilizing left over geocomposite. <br />6. Review of submittals and RFI's: <br />- No submittals or RFI's are outstanding. <br />7. Review of CQA activities: <br />- GLA is observing Guinn's construction activities. <br />- GLA continued to observe and test the geosynthetics installation on the floor, <br />sideslopes, and top deck. <br />- GLA continued to run destructive tests on the geomembrane seams and found <br />them to be within the specified requirements. <br />Forward Landfill WMU FU -13 <br />Progress Meeting Minutes Page 2 <br />11 <br />
