Tm,T - Ultimate Tensile Strength shall be the minimum average roll value
ultimate tensile strength as tested per ASTM D6637. This test shall be
conducted without artificially deforming test materials under load before
measuring such resistance or employing an artificial "secant" or "offset"
tangent basis of measurement so as to overstate tensile properties.
b. RFoR - Reduction Factor for Creep Rupture (FScR) is the ratio of TULT
divided by the creep rupture strength determined in accordance with
ASTM D5262-97 and FHWA NHI-00-043. The test results shall be
extrapolated for a 75 -year design life per FHWA NHI-00-043. Creep
rupture data of a polymer product at a designed temperature is limited to
one order of magnitude in extrapolation. Creep rupture testing at an
elevated temperature permits an additional order of magnitude in
Forward Landfill WMU FU -13
02779 4 GEOGRID
