Water Quality Monitoring Report <br />Forward Landfill <br />0 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />On behalf of Forward Inc. (Forward), this report presents water quality monitoring data <br />generated during the fourth quarter 2015 monitoring period for the Forward Landfill in <br />San Joaquin County, California. This report also presents an annual summary for the <br />site. Monitoring was performed in accordance with requirements listed in the Central <br />Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) Order No. R5-2014-0006. For <br />reporting purposes, the water quality monitoring network consists of two units: the <br />Forward Unit and the Austin Unit. Section 1 provides a description of the monitoring <br />network, site inspections, and standard observations; Sections 2 and 3 include <br />discussions of water quality data for the Forward and Austin Units, respectively. <br />1.1 Monitoring Network <br />The water quality monitoring network at the Forward Unit currently includes 15 <br />groundwater monitoring wells (five of which are dual depth well pairs), one domestic <br />well, two surface water monitoring stations, and 10 lysimeters (Figure 1-1). The detection monitoring <br />program (DMP) wells are used to detect for a potential release from the landfill, while <br />the corrective action program (CAP) wells are used to evaluate changes in water quality <br />and the effectiveness of the corrective action measures.
