Violation PRC 44014(b)-Records indicate on April 13,2006,this facility received 838 tons of waste. The tonnage of waste <br /> received on that date exceeded the permitted maximum tonnage of 825 per day. <br /> a. The amount of waste received at this facility shall not exceed the permitted maximum tonnage listed in the Solid <br /> Waste Facility Permit(SWFP). <br /> 2. AC PRC 44004(a)—Records indicate on April 13,2006,this facility received 838 tons of waste. The tonnage of waste <br /> received on that date exceeded the permitted maximum tonnage of 825 per day. <br /> a. Increase in the tonnage received at this facility constitutes a significant change in the operation. All significant <br /> change in operation requires prior approval from the LEA and concurrence from the CIWMB. <br /> 3 AC T27 CCR 20590-New signs posted"Hard hats and safety vest required in the landfill dumping area,no exceptions. <br /> Observed drivers of refuse vehicles do not have safety vests or hard hats when they are out of the vehicle at <br /> the disposal area. <br /> a. Provide safety equipment for all safety personnel working at disposal area. <br /> b. Ensure that all personnel working at disposal area wear adequate safety equipment. <br /> 4. AC T27 CCR 20650-Previous ponding areas(water has dried up)observed at the top of the old unit(modules 1,2,and 3). <br /> a. Regrade the surface to promote lateral runoff of the precipitation and to prevent ponding. <br /> 5. AC T27CCR20860-Conditions regarding daylighting through daily cover at active face have improved.However,there <br /> is still daylighting observed. <br /> a. Provide adequate cover over solid waste,a min.of 6 inches of compacted soil. <br /> 6. AC T27 CCR 20680—Winter pad built on the east side of Module 4 contain roughly ground wood waste that is <br /> heavily contaminated trash. <br /> a.
