AC T27 CCR 20690-Previous torn tarps are in process of being repaired. However,observed exposed waste through <br /> interim tarps which are torn. Observed exposed wasted at edge of tarps. <br /> a. Cover all waste. <br /> b. Continue to repair or replace tarps. <br /> 8. AC T 27 CCR 20820-Operator indicated that they have not been able to repair the several erosion channels observed <br /> from recent rains(conditions still to wet for heavy equipment). <br /> a. Fill in erosion channels,especially the deep erosion channels. <br /> 9. Notes: <br /> A. Leachate seepage at west slope of old unit have been repaired(previous AC cleared). Continue to monitor for <br /> leachate seepage and provide necessary repairs as needed. <br /> B. Daylighting observed throughout bench above working face due to scrapers and heavy equipment driving across <br /> area. Note: Additional soil cover was being place over exposed waste at time of inspection. Continue to provide <br /> adequate cover over solid waste,a minimum of 6 inches of compacted soil. <br /> C. Drainage pipes(above access road to working face)were damaged due to scrapers driving over it. Repair damaged <br /> drainage pipes. <br /> D. Facility began operation after 7 AM in accordance with permitted hours of operation as specified in SWFP. <br /> E. Gas probes measured were less than 5 %methane by volume of air. <br /> F. Clear away vegetation and grasses along site boundary to provide better access to the gas probes and prevent fire <br /> hazards. <br /> INSPECTOR SIGNATURE: <br /> DATE: <br />
