Note Observed drivers of refuse vehicles wearing safety vests and hard hats when they are out of their vehicles at <br /> the disposal area (previous Area of Concern cleared). <br /> 8. Note Winter with contaminated trash pad(at east side of module 4)has been adequately covered with soil(previous Area <br /> of Concern cleared). <br /> 9. Notes: <br /> A. Some daylighting observed at working face,lift below working face(facing south),and on slope at module 3. Take <br /> measure to minimize daylighting and to provide adequate daily cover 6 inches of compacted soil. <br /> B. Previous torn tarps(Auto tarps)are to be repaired. A small tear was observed through"Pull Tarps"currently used. <br /> Take measures to maintain tarps in good repair and be adequately used as ADC. <br /> C. Bench above working face:Conditions regarding daylighting have improved. However,there is still some <br /> daylighting observed and further grading needed. Continue to provide adequate grading and cover over solid waste, <br /> a minimum of 6 inches of compacted soil. <br /> D. Drainage pipes(above access road to working face)were damaged due to scrapers driving over it. Operator <br /> indicated that this area will eventually be used as fill. Damaged drainage pipes shall be replaced until such time area <br /> is to be used as fill. <br /> E. Small erosion channels observed in lift in module 4(facing south). It is understood that this area will be regraded. <br /> F. Construction of gas extraction system is to begin this June. <br /> G. Facility began operation after 7 AM in accordance with permitted hours of operation as specified in SWFP. <br /> H. Gas probes measured were less than 5%methane by volume of air. <br /> I. Clear away vegetation and grasses along site boundary to provide better access to the gas probes and prevent fire <br /> hazards. <br /> DATE: <br /> INSPECTOR SIGNATURE: S l Z <br /> I <br />
