During purging, pH, electrical conductivity and water temperature will be <br />recorded, and samples will not be collected until these parameters have stabi- <br />lized. Sample bottles, bottle caps, and septa used in sampling any volatile or- <br />ganics will be thoroughly washed with detergent, rinsed extensively with tap wa- <br />ter, and then rinsed again with high purity deionized water.
