Waste Management Unit Characteristics <br />a -c) These sections address how the ground and surface water may <br />affect the waste management unit and how the unit may affect the <br />ground and surface water. <br />In February of 1988, EMCON Associates prepared a report titled "Solid <br />Waste Assessment Test Proposal and Ground -Water Monitoring Plan, <br />Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill, San Joaquin County* California" for <br />the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works. This proposal was <br />designed to implement monitoring at the site which would satisfy <br />requirements of the Calderon Bill (AB 3525, which was incorporated <br />into the California Water Code in Section 13273) and Subchapter 15, <br />Title 23 of the California Administrative Code (Subchapter 15). This <br />proposal report and Ground Water Monitoring Plan" hereinafter SWAT <br />proposal, was approved by the RWOCB on April 5» 19B8. This SWAT <br />proposal will be referred to for information in this RWD. <br />Groundwater monitoring was implemented at the site in June 1988. A <br />report titled "Solid Waste Assessment Test (SWAT) Report " was <br />prepared by EMCON Associates for the site and submitted to the RWQCB <br />on July 1, 19BB. The SWAT report contains detailed information on <br />site characteristics, ground -water and soil monitoring results, <br />regional hydrogeoIogy and solid waste assessment test conclusions. <br />VA <br />
