.2595. Waste Management Unit Characteristics
a -c) These sections address how the ground and surface water may
affect the waste management unit and how the unit may affect the
ground and surface water.
In February of 1988, EMCON Associates prepared a report titled "Solid
Waste Assessment Test Proposal and Ground -Water Monitoring Plan,
Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill, San Joaquin County* California" for
the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works. This proposal was
designed to implement monitoring at the site which would satisfy
requirements of the Calderon Bill (AB 3525, which was incorporated
into the California Water Code in Section 13273) and Subchapter 15,
Title 23 of the California Administrative Code (Subchapter 15). This
proposal report and Ground Water Monitoring Plan" hereinafter SWAT
proposal, was approved by the RWOCB on April 5» 19B8. This SWAT
proposal will be referred to for information in this RWD.
Groundwater monitoring was implemented at the site in June 1988. A
report titled "Solid Waste Assessment Test (SWAT) Report " was
prepared by EMCON Associates for the site and submitted to the RWQCB
on July 1, 19BB. The SWAT report contains detailed information on
site characteristics, ground -water and soil monitoring results,
regional hydrogeoIogy and solid waste assessment test conclusions.
VA
