This report, hereinafter SWAT report, will be referenced throughout <br />this report and should be consulted for detailed information in ' <br />applicable sections. <br />Assessments of how the ground and surface water has affected or may ' <br />affect the landfill, and how the landfill has affected or may affect <br />the groundwater, are contained in Section 2 of the SWAT report. <br />' <br />These assesssments are based on the site characteristics, geologic <br />conditions and ground -water analysis studied by EMCON Associates. <br />d> Topography: <br />' <br />1> Information on regional and site topography is contained in <br />Section 2.2 of the SWAT report for the landfill. More detailed <br />topographic information is also shown on Drawing 1 of the Closure Plan <br />(Appendix B), which shows existing ground elevations on site and <br />proposed fill elevations at a scale of 1"=1001. <br />- <br />2) A narrow strip along corral Hollow Creek within the site boundary <br />is located within the 100 year flood area. This was determined from <br />information shown on Federal Insurance Map No. 060299 0715A. A reduced <br />copy of this map is shown as Figure 5. <br />Figure 5 shows federal flood insurance zones and the approximate <br />location of the landfill property. As can be seen on the map key, a <br />small portion of the site along the south east perimeter is in zone A. <br />B <br />
