INTRODUCTION <br />This report summarizes existing hydrogeologic information in <br />the vicinity of Corral Hollow Landfill in Tracy, California. The <br />site is located in western San Joaquin County at the intersection <br />of Corral Hollow Road and Interstate 580. The landfill has been <br />operated by the City of Tracy for over 20 years. The approximate <br />location of the site is shown on Plate 1. <br />In preparation of this report we have used information from <br />published hydrogeologic reports and previous Kleinfelder projects <br />within the area. In particular, information from the following <br />Kleinfelder investigations were referenced: <br />"Proposed Communityof Carnegie, g , Corral Hollow Road and <br />Interstate 580" dated September 30, 1981. <br />"Monitoring Well Borings, Proposed Evaporation/Storage <br />Ponds, Musca Olive Facility/Tracy, CA" dated June 7, 1985. <br />"Deep Monitoring Well, Proposed Evaporation/Storage Ponds, <br />Musco Olive Facility, Tracy, California" dated September 27, <br />1985. <br />"Geologic Investigation, Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill, <br />San Joaquin County, California" dated December 2, 1985. <br />These reports should all be in the files of the Central Valley <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board Office. The site for the <br />Proposed Community of Carnegie is located adjacent and south of <br />the landfill. The Musca Olive Facility is located northwest of <br />the Corral Hollow Landfill.
