of the LEA, monitors the LEA to ensure appropriate implementation <br /> of state requirements and also possesses enforcement authority <br /> along with the LEA. <br /> The CWMB will review this Engineering Report, the associated <br /> RDSI and application for permit review after they are submitted <br /> to and reviewed by the LEA. Past involvement of the CWMB in the <br /> Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill ' s compliance with state <br /> regulations includes performance of "Presley" inspections. These <br /> inspections involved three inspections at the site, the last of <br /> which was conducted on February 26, 1988. Overall findings of <br /> the inspection program at the landfill indicated that compliance <br /> with Section 17704 will be determined by the CWMB upon receipt of <br /> future groundwater investigation data as reported to the RWQCB <br /> and that the facility was found to be in compliance with all <br /> other State Minimum Standards. As a result of these findings, no <br /> additional investigations of the site by the CWMB are anticipated <br /> until the next investigation cycle or closure of the landfill. <br /> C. California Department of Health Services: <br /> The Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill is a Class II-2 sanitary <br /> landfill under the state designation prior to Subchapter 15 <br /> (equivalent to Class III under the new designation) . As such the <br /> landfill does not accept hazardous waste or liquids. The site <br /> generally does not engage in activities which require reporting <br /> to California Department of Health Services. <br /> D , California Air Resources Board: <br /> In July 1988, an AQSWAT was performed at the site to comply with <br /> Health and Safety Code, Section 41805.5. According to <br /> provisions of the law, the San Joaquin Local Air Pollution <br /> Control District approved the AQSWAT proposal and later received <br /> a copy , of the AQSWAT Report. The District is to review the <br /> report and submit a copy of the report, with its findings, to the <br /> California Air Resources Board. The Air Board will then submit a <br /> report to the California legislature regarding the findings for <br /> the AQSWAT's performed for all disposal sites in the state. A <br /> copy of the AQSWAT for the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill is <br /> included as Appendix D. <br /> E. Local Agencies: <br /> The Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill operates under Solid Waste <br /> Facilities Permit No. 39-AA-005, a copy of which is Appendix A. <br /> This permit was approved by the CWMB on 2/24/83 and the LEA on <br /> 3/16/83. <br /> 27 <br />
