2.1.0 Maintenance <br /> Maintenance activities/schedules will be performed in accordance with <br /> manufacturer's specifications outlined in CHSL's gas flare system O&M manual. A <br /> copy of the manual is available at the flare station storage closet. <br /> Maintenance activities include: <br /> 1. Inspecting and clean flame arresters as needed. <br /> 2. Rotating active/inactive blowers. <br /> 3. Lubricateing blower and drive motor bearings; check and adjust belts. <br /> 4. Checking the pilot fuel tank levels, and refilling them as necessary. <br /> 5. Checking Blower/flare station controller set points shall be checked and <br /> adjusted as necessary. <br /> 6. Perform air compressor check/maintenance. <br /> 2.1.D Reporting <br /> The LFG system contractor prepares monthly reports to the County containing the <br /> data collected (in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format)and a summary of all activity <br /> performed during the reporting period. Maintenance repairs and/or system <br /> modifications are recommended as required. Data summaries shall be attached to <br /> reports on CD-ROM media or e-mailed to the County. <br /> 2.2 QUARTERLY PERIMETER MONITORING <br /> Perimeter LFG migration monitoring probes are monitored quarterly in accordance <br /> with Article 6 of Title 27, CCR. The contractor notifies the County within one (1) <br /> hour of any condition of non-compliance with perimeter monitoring rules or <br /> regulations. Monitored parameters include (see attached Data Sheet): <br /> 1 Date, time, and name of monitoring personnel <br /> 2 Meteorological conditions (e.g.,wind direction and velocity, barometric <br /> pressure, ambient temperature, general weather observations,etc) <br /> 3 Methane, oxygen and carbon dioxide gas concentrations <br /> 4 Testing protocols <br /> 5 Instrument calibration <br /> 2.3 SEMI-ANNUAL SURFACE EMISSION TEST <br /> The contractor tests surface emissions in accordance with the surface emissions testing <br /> protocol prepared by the County(Attachment A).
