C. Lateral to Header Connection <br />1. Connection all new LFG well laterals to the existing 8" HDPE SDR header as <br />shown in the construction drawings. <br />2. Flare shutdown time will be permitted for 2 working days with a maximum of <br />16 hours for connecting laterals to the LFG header. The Contractor shall <br />coordinate header connections with the Engineer. Foreign materials shall be <br />1 prevented from entering the header during header connection. <br />3. Do not damage the high pressure air or the condensate line. The Contractor <br />shall be responsible for all damages to the header, the high pressure air and the <br />condensate line. <br />4. Do not disturb barrier layer while connecting the lateral to the header and <br />installing the valve box. <br />AND PAYMENT <br />4.01 LFG EXTRACTION WELL <br />A. Measurement <br />1. Measurement for landfill gas extraction wells shall be by the linear foot. <br />Contractor shall measure the depth from the top of the well bell -hole to bottom <br />of each well with a weighted measuring tape in the presence of the Engineer. <br />B. Payment <br />' 1. Payment for landfill gas extraction wells shall be per unit price per liner foot <br />quoted in the bid proposal. The unit price shall include full compensation for <br />' furnishing all labor, tools, equipment for drilling and installing the well to the <br />top of the bell -hole, well pipe, drain rock, well skirt, valve box and other <br />materials, completing well logs and reports, hauling excavated refuse and <br />waste material off-site, and for doing all work involved in installing the landfill <br />gas extraction well as shown on the Construction Drawings and specified here- <br />in. <br />4.02 LFG WELL LATERALS <br />' A. Measurement <br />1. Measurement for well laterals shall be per unit price per linear foot quoted in <br />the bid proposal.
