7 <br />G. Using a cutting die cut four 1 -inch specimens spaced evenly along the length of the <br />weld. <br />H. Using a field tensiometer, test specimens for peel adhesion, and bonded seam <br />strength (ASTM D6392). Alternate the specimens peel, shear, peel, and shear. Test <br />both sides of a wedge weld for peel strength. Test at a separation rate of two inches <br />per minute. <br />1 I. Repeat the trial weld in its entirety when any trial weld specimen fails in either peel <br />or shear. <br />K. When repeated trial weld fails, do not use welding apparatus and welder until <br />' deficiencies or conditions are corrected and two consecutive successful trial welds <br />are achieved. <br />3.06 DEPLOYMENT <br />A. Repair damage to subgrade or other underlying materials prior to completing <br />deployment of geomembrane. <br />B. Give careful consideration to the timing and temperature during deployment.
