C. Ideally, deployment, welding, and covering would , all occur at the same <br />temperature. In a practical sense, strive to perform these activities within as narrow <br />a temperature range as practical, and avoid these activities during peak hot or cold <br />conditions. <br />D. Panel Identification: Assign each panel an identifying code number or letter <br />consistent with the approved panel layout drawing. Coordinate coding with the <br />CQA Monitor. <br />E. <br />Do not deploy more panels in one shift than can be welded or secured during that <br />same shift. <br />F. <br />Do not deploy in the presence of excessive moisture, precipitation, ponded water, or <br />high winds. <br />G. <br />Do not damage geomembrane when handling, due to equipment traffic, due to <br />leakage of hydrocarbons or due to any other means. <br />H. <br />Do not wear shoes that can damage the geomembrane <br />I. <br />Unroll geomembrane panels using methods that will not damage, stretch or crimp <br />geomembrane. Protect underlying surface from damage. <br />J. <br />Place ballast on geomembrane that will prevent wind from uplifting and moving the <br />geomembrane. <br />K. <br />Use ballast that will not damage geomembrane. <br />L. <br />Protect geomembrane in areas of heavy traffic by placing a protective cover over the <br />' <br />geomembrane. <br />M. <br />Do not allow any vehicular traffic directly on geomembrane. <br />N. <br />Remove wrinkled or folded material. <br />O. <br />Install material to account for shrinkage and contraction while avoiding wrinkles. <br />Install material stress -free with no bridging before it is covered. Add material as <br />needed to avoid bridging. <br />tP. <br />Before wrinkles fold over, attempt to push them out. For wrinkles that cannot be <br />pushed out, cut them out and repair cuts prior to burial. <br />Q. <br />Visually inspect geomembrane for imperfections.
